Day 5 of my captivity. I've been working on this nursery for an entire week now. I started out painting a nice Pooh bear yellow. Bought the friggan expensive Behr paint that is supposed to cover everything. My ass. I've done two coats of yellow and then did the trim in white. (2 more coats). So, I got a brilliant idea that I needed molding. Usually, I know my limitations but my friend came over and showed me how to use a miter box. (Every lesbian should know how to use a miter box!)Okay, I can do this. I've spent more money on molding than I care to share. Finally, I have all of the molding up. I want to call the person who invented caulk and offer them my kidney as CAULK IS THE BEST THING THAT WAS EVER INVENTED. I look like a friggan genius. The molding looks great. So, I pay $9.95 for the expensive Scotch blue tape that is supposed to help you keep areas clean that don't need to be painted. Again, I say, MY ASS! It not only kept the areas clean when I peeled it off it took half the damn paint with it. So, I have to repainted several pieces of molding, window sill etc. tomorrow.

The moral of this story is...every lesbian should know the phone number to a good handy man/woman.

I thought how loving it would be for me to do my baby's room myself. Yeah, it's loving alright! I'm in mood swing hell from these Follistim injections and I'm ready to burn my house down!
